Canadian Kraft Paper Essential Skills Program

We are pleased to announce an upcoming information session in town to introduce our new Essential Skills Program and provide details on the revised Grade 12 requirements for prospective applicants interested in general labourer (labour pool/perm relief) positions. 

Date: July 11, 2023

Time: 12:00 noon and 6:00pm (2 sessions)

Location: Constant Room, Kikiwak Inn

During this session, we will highlight the objectives and benefits of our Essential Skills Program, designed to enhance the capabilities of our future workforce, and meet our current needs. Additionally, we will discuss recent changes in our hiring criteria for General Labourer (Labour Pool/Perm Relief), emphasizing that Grade 12 is now preferred but no longer mandatory. Instead, candidates will be required to complete the Essential Skills Assessment facilitated by Workplace Education Manitoba.

We are encouraging you to invite interested individuals in your network who are 18 years of age and older and seeking full-time employment.

This information session will provide a comprehensive understanding of the program and the updated requirements.

We will begin receiving applications for this new process from the 11th of July.
