CKP recognizes and celebrates Mark Bristow

CKP recognizes and celebrates Mark Bristow for his current fundraising efforts through an annual event that is dear to his heart. Mark is, once again, taking part in the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge, a bicycle challenge that helps raise funds to fight kids’ cancer.

The Great Canadian Cycle Challenge partners with the SickKids Foundation to provide world-class care for children living with cancer. Mark has been taking part in the challenge since its inception in 2016. Since then, he has participated every summer, riding a total of 4400 kilometers, and raising $12,000. For Mark’s 8th year of cycling, he has set himself a goal to ride a minimum of 100 km and hopes to raise $2,500.

Taking place every August, the challenge is free and open to anyone wishing to participate. For those looking to sign up simply visit the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge website, set a fundraising and kilometer goal, and start cycling. A variety of apps can be used to log kilometers cycled into the challenge’s website so that others can follow along with riders’ progress.

You can visit Mark’s fundraising page to donate or learn more about the challenge. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer. We wish you all the best.
