CKP is proud to announce the Professional & Technical Training Program. This program offers post-secondary education sponsorship in fields such as Forestry, Engineering & Technology to qualified student applicants. Upon successful completion of the academic program, the student will have the opportunity to fulfill a career with CKP.
Successful student applicants may be eligible to receive support such as:
• Tuition Fees
• Course Material allowance
• Student
• Accommodations/Housing Allowance
• Travel Assistance
• Summer Student Employment
• Full- time Employment Opportunities
In addition, qualified students will benefit from on the job training at CKP while gaining industry experience through the Summer Student program. For each year of post-graduation employment with CKP, any financial assistance provided will be forgiven in proportion to the total number of years the qualified accredited participant received financial support, plus an additional year of employment with CKP. Applicants must meet all entrance requirements with the approved post-secondary academic institution for the accredited program. All applicants must be a resident with the boundaries of the CKP forest management license area or a Nekoté community. To participate in this program, successful applicants are selected and approved by CKP.
