Dr. Ramona Neckoway is a member of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation and has worked at UCN since 2017. Ramona has a PhD in individual interdisciplinary studies (with a focus on Native studies) and is the Associate Vice President, Indigenous Initiatives and Reconciliation.
Melanie Belmore is an Anishinaabe (Ojibway) member of Whitesand First Nation. She was born in Thunder Bay, and raised in Armstrong, Ontario. She has been living in The Pas since 2009 and working for UCN for 9.5 years. Melanie is the Learning Innovations Specialist with Research & Academic Innovation.
Pearly Nelson Leaske is a Swampy Cree member of Sapotaweyak Cree Nation. Nelson was born in Birch River, Manitoba but has resided in The Pas for the last 20 years. He has worked as the Waskawimakana Mecimwaci Isihtwawina Instructor at UCN for the last 13 years.
