Introducing…Lucille!
In remembrance of our dear friend and colleague, Jari Vainio, team CKP decided to name our Paper Machine. When Jari first visited our kraft paper mill, he suggested that the Paper Machine be named as it is common practice in the papermaking industry and signifies importance. It was then opened up to employees for suggestions during the month of June, and after sorting through the many responses and deliberation, the name “Lucille” was chosen! The plaque was unveiled on August 16, 2022 and will be mounted onto the Paper Machine.
