Reporting to the Instrumentation Supervisor, the Instrumentation Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and install a wide variety of pneumatic and electronic instruments. The candidate will be required to perform maintenance on a Delta-V DCS and utilize it for troubleshooting and loop optimizing as well as troubleshooting and repairing valves, positioners and actuators.


  • Interprovincial TQ as an Instrument Mechanic.
  • Minimum of two or more years experience working in a Pulp and Paper Mill or Industrial Environment as a Journeyperson would be considered an asset
  • Experience with PLC’s windows and windows applications would all be considered assets.
  • Demonstrated focus on safety
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • The successful applicant is required to be a self-starter with excellent organizational, problem solving, and must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and changing priorities.

The hourly wage as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement is $45.12.
