Reporting to the Instrumentation Supervisor, the Instrumentation Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and install a wide variety of pneumatic and electronic instruments. The candidate will be required to perform maintenance on a Delta-V DCS and utilize it for troubleshooting and loop optimizing as well as troubleshooting and repairing valves, positioners and actuators.
Interprovincial TQ as an Instrument Mechanic.
Minimum of two or more years experience working in a Pulp and Paper Mill or Industrial Environment as a Journeyperson would be considered an asset
Experience with PLC’s windows and windows applications would all be considered assets.

Interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
The successful applicant is required to be a self-starter with excellent organizational, problem solving, and must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and changing priorities.

The hourly wage as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement is $45.12.
