Canadian Kraft Paper is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume an exciting, multifaceted role within our Woodlands group.  Under the direction of the Woodlands Manager – Harvesting, the Harvesting Superintendent is part of a team oversee operations within a Forest Section of the Canadian Kraft Paper Forest Management Area as well as negotiations of Timber Harvest, Hauling and road construction contracts. The Harvesting Superintendent will be responsible for the mentorship and development of  Harvesting Supervisors as well as supervise forest operations. The incumbent will also work closely and develop strong relationships with First Nations Communities on the Forest Management Area.


  • University Degree or Technical Diploma in Forestry;
  • 5-10 years related industry experience;
  • Good understanding of use of technology such as GIS, GPS and tablets:
  • Thorough understanding of forest policy, guidelines, and regulations;
  • A proven commitment to safety;
  • Understanding of forestry equipment costs and experience negotiating contracts;
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills;
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and maintain current knowledge of government policies and regulations.
